Born in Dallas, Texas, to Nigerian immigrants, my story is one of resilience, education, and a deep commitment to helping others. Growing up in poverty, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of strategic planning. Watching my parents navigate the complexities of the immigration system—my father adjusting his status from a student visa and my mother from a tourist visa, processes that took 19 and 30 years respectively—instilled in me an early appreciation for the importance of expert guidance and diligent preparation. This early life lesson became the foundation of my passion for immigration law.

After graduating law school, I transitioned from observing to actively assisting individuals through their immigration journeys. My personal experience deepened further when I married a man in Nigeria and went through the K1 fiancé visa process myself. Filing for him and helping him adjust his status while aiding his transition into American society gave me invaluable insight into the challenges and intricacies of the immigration process.

Starting my own family and becoming a parent to a child with special needs added another layer of complexity and urgency to my work.
